Singapore Orchids

Whereas the Botanical Gardens and the Sentosa Island Orchid Garden are ornamental gardens, the Mandai Orchid Gardens, which are situated close to the zoo in the centre of the island, are a commercial concern. Sadly, quarantine issues mean that orchids can no longer be dispatched from there to the UK.

Unfortunately, although I enjoy photographing these beautiful flowers, I know very little about them and so I have been unable to label the photographs with species names.
